SoWell Alternative in Europe: GLP-1 Support Without the Import Hassle
Deel
Last checked: June 2026. Prices and formulations may change.
SoWell is one of the best-known US brands for people on GLP-1 medication, founded by internist Dr. Alexandra Sowa. Many European users discover it via TikTok or Reddit — and then hit the wall of shipping, customs and dollar exchange rates. If you live in the Netherlands or the EU: here's the honest comparison.
What SoWell is
SoWell's GLP-1 Support System consists of three separate products: electrolytes ($35), protein powder ($45) and fibre ($35) — together about $105 per month, excluding shipping to Europe (if available at all) and any customs charges. Individual targeted supplements (B-complex etc.) come on top.
The European alternative
Mayntain Daily is made in Europe, ships free within the EU and combines in one product: Akkermansia muciniphila, psyllium fibre, collagen peptides, magnesium bisglycinate, vitamin D3, B12, biotin and zinc — all eight with fully disclosed doses. €38 per month with a subscription, €44 one-time.
The comparison
| Mayntain Daily | SoWell Support System | |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | 1 product, 2 capsules a day | 3 separate products (powders) |
| Price per month | €38–44 | ± $105 + import to EU |
| Vitamins & minerals | ✓ Fully disclosed | Via separate extra SKUs |
| Hair & nails (biotin/zinc/collagen) | ✓ | ✕ (not in the core system) |
| Gut support (Akkermansia) | ✓ | ✕ |
| Protein | ✕ (capsule; see our protein guide) | ✓ (protein powder) |
| EU shipping | ✓ Free, from Europe | ✕ US-focused |
Fair is fair
SoWell's system includes a protein powder — Mayntain doesn't replace that. Protein should ideally come from food; read our guide on what to eat on Mounjaro & Zepbound. For the vitamins, minerals, fibre and gut support that smaller portions leave out, there's Mayntain Daily — without the import hassle.
